Bloom Brothers Furniture, a large furniture retailer, was best known for offering the lowest prices on brand name furniture, everyday. One of its largest competitors, Haynes Furniture, was notorious for advertising the "sale of the century" every weekend. This commercial was created as a satire directly countering its competitors weekly sale advertisements.
Set in the corporate conference room, Larry Bloom, owner of Bloom Brothers Furniture, directs his buyers and management team to reduce all the prices in the stores to the lowest possible price. Filmed in dramatic cinema style blue lighting and shot at eye level to capture the sincerity of the directive.
